2ἐπ’ Εὐθίου ἄρχοντος, ἐπὶ τῆς
3Αἰαντίδος δωδεκάτης πρυ–
4τανείας, ἧι Ναυσιμένης

6ἐγραμμάτευεν· Σκιροφοριῶ–
7νος ἕνηι καὶ νέαι· Καλλίας Λ[υ]–

14λῆι· τοὺς προέδρους οἳ ἂν λάχω–
15σιν προεδρεύειν εἰς τὴν ἐπιοῦ–
16σαν ἐκκλησίαν προσαγαγεῖν τὸν
17[ο]ἰκεῖον τῆς ἱερείας καὶ χρηματίσαι
18περὶ τούτων, γνώμην δὲ ξυνβάλλε–
19[σ]θαι τῆς βουλῆς εἰς τὸν δῆμον, ὅ–
20[τ]ι δοκεῖ τῆι βουλῆι τοὺς ἀστυνό–
21μους τοὺς ἀεὶ λαχόντας, ὅταν ἦι
22ἡ πομπὴ τῆι Ἀφροδίτηι τεῖ Πανδή–
23μωι, παρασκευάζειν εἰς κάθαρσι[ν]
24τοῦ ἱεροῦ περιστερὰν καὶ περιαλε[ῖ]–
25[ψα]ι τοὺς βωμοὺς καὶ πιττῶσαι τὰς

19des Rates in die Volksversammlung einbringen, wonach
20der Rat beschließt, dass die Astynomen,
21die jeweils gewählt sind, wenn
22der Festzug für Aphrodite Pandemos
23stattfindet, beschaffen zur (kultischen) Reinigung
24des Heiligtums eine Taube und ringsum
25die Altäre salben und die
26Türen pichen und die Statuen abwaschen; dass sie auch
27beschaffen Purpur im Gewicht von 4 Dr.

3twelfth prytany, of Aiantis,
4for which Nausimenes
5son of Nausikydes of Cholargos
6was secretary. On the old and new day
7of Skirophorion. Kallias son of Lysimachos
8of Hermos proposed: so that
9those who at any time are allotted city guardians
10may carry out their management
11of the sanctuary of Aphrodite
12Pandemos according to ancestral custom,
13for good fortune, the Council shall decide
14that the presiding committee who are allotted
15to preside at the forthcoming
16Assembly shall present the
17member of the priestess's household and shall put the matter
18on the agenda and submit the opinion
19of the Council to the People, that
20it seems good to the Council that those who at any time are
21allotted city guardians, whenever there is
22the procession to Aphrodite Pandemos,
23shall prepare for the purification
24of the shrine a dove, and shall whitewash
25the altars and put pitch over the
26[doorways] and wash the statues; and they shall prepare
